Judith Stern, M.A. is certified in Maryland as a classroom teacher (grades Kindergarten through 8) and as a Reading Specialist and Special Educator for grades K-12. She has had extensive experience working with students of all ages, with a special interest in helping students with learning and/or attention problems. She provides individual tutoring and small group instruction in the following areas:

Reading
Written Language
Organization Skills
Study Skills

Ms. Stern provides individual tutoring sessions, as well as small group classes in .improving study skills. She also provides educational testing services, with a specialty in reading problems.

Ms. Stern meets with students and parents to work out effective homework plans, and to provide study skills suggestions for use at home and school.

Afternoon and evening sessions available.
